Taking place in San Antonio, Texas, this April is another great automotive auction put on by the Leake family. Founder Jim Leak Sr. started collecting cars in the 40s when old cars were considered junk, not like they are today. Having a passion for for these old cars he began stock piling them. Then in 1964 he decided to hold one of the first collector car auctions at his Muskogee, Oklahoma, site which was a huge success leading to another annual auction held at their Tulsa location.

Jim Leake also opened the famous museum in Oklahoma called “The Antiques” which housed the largest private collection of Rolls-Royces in the world along with many other rare collectable autos. Jim Leake Sr. passed on in 2001 but his legacy lives on with third generation carrying on the tradition of annual auctions now in 3 locations along with the museum. Leake has been a household name for over 50 years in the collector car world. In the 35 years of business working with collector cars, the Leakes have sold over 30,000 cars.

The San Antonio auction on April 8th and 9th will be held at the Freeman Coliseum in the Exposition Hall.
