Is your right hand twitching? Left leg reaching for a clutch pedal? Are your ears missing the mechanical song of power and torque? Have no fear, we’re only a few weeks away from the 2013 drag race series kick off with the NHRA Winternationals at Pomona, California on February 14-17.

As a matter of fact, there’s already quite a bit of testing and tuning taking place. Teams are convening on the warm weather cities such as Palm Beach, Houston and Las Vegas to try out new combinations and shake-out the new car bugs prior to the points races. So if you do some digging and planning, there’s sure to be a few more test sessions taking place out there.

The test season is even shorter than the off-season as the points races will fire up in February and March for most sanctioning bodies. We’ve compiled a list of events from a few different sanctions so you can fill out your calendar and schedule your vacation time to get to a few events. Remember, there’s lots more racing than we have listed and be sure to check out some local drags or circle tracks – we’ll see you at the races.
