Classic Instruments recently announced the introduction of three new direct fit packages for classic Chevrolet vehicles. The new direct fit packages are available for the 1951-52 Chevy car, 1954-55 “First Series” Chevy truck, and the 1964-65 Chevelle. The all inclusive direct fit packages feature instrumentation, model-specific mounting hardware, and all necessary sending units. And maybe most important, they looks spectacular.
1951-52 Chevy Car Package
The 1951-52 Chevy package includes a 4 ⅝ in. Quad gauge (fuel (0-30), oil, temp, volts) and the choice of a 4 ⅝ in. speedometer or Speedtachular™ (speedometer & tachometer combination gauge) in any of the fourteen different series. The set includes a red high beam and green turn signal LED indicator lights in the speedometer face, model specific trim rings, mounting hardware, and all necessary sending units. The fuel sending unit is not included. The fuel gauge is calibrated to 0-30 ohms to work with the stock sending unit.
1954-55 “First Series” Chevy Truck Package
The 1954-55 Chevy truck package is designed for use with “First Series” 1954-55 Chevy truck models. Each set includes a 4 ⅝ in. Quad gauge (fuel (240-33), oil, temp, and volts) and the choice of a 4 ⅝ in. speedometer or Speedtachular™ (speedometer & tachometer combination gauge) in any of the fourteen available series. Each kit includes model specific, machined aluminum, trim rings with LED indicator lights mounted in the border of one ring. All mounting hardware and sending units are included. The fuel gauge is calibrated to 240-33 ohms and the fuel sending unit is included.
1964-65 Chevelle Package
The 1964-65 Chevelle Package includes a 3 ⅜ in. speedometer, tachometer, and Quad (fuel (0-30 ohms), oil, temp, volt) gauge. Available in any of the fourteen different series, the speedometer features a blue Halo™ high beam indicator. The set includes all necessary mounting hardware and sending units. Dash mounting bezel and fuel sending unit not included. The fuel gauge is calibrated to 0-30 ohms to work with the stock sending unit.
