Richard Petty is a NASCAR legend and now you’ll be able to experience part of his legacy at Goodguys Rod & Custom Association events across the country this season. Petty’s Garage, a high-performance speed shop run under the watchful eye of Petty himself, will exhibit at nine different Goodguys shows this year. Not only is this a great way to see some awesome automotive creations from Petty and his crew, there will also be racing memorabilia and Petty’s Garage Signature parts on display.
Established in 2008 as the ultimate speed shop, Petty’s Garage specializes in creating high-performance custom and street cars. In addition to their individual builds, the garage also produces its collection of Signature Series cars, including the specialty Challenger, Mustang and Petty Superbird Daytona.
Both the Challenger and Superbird Daytona creations from Petty’s Garage sport HEMI engines with available superchargers for an extra push, a slew of Petty-created suspension and chassis components, Brembo brakes and Forgeline wheels, as well as special Petty interiors and exterior accent packages.
The Petty Signature Series Mustang comes with a potent Ford Racing engine, upgraded suspension components, Stop Tech brakes and Forgeline wheels, along with a custom interior and exterior.
Petty’s Garage also specializes in classic car builds and even restores legendary NASCAR vehicles, like Petty’s own “#40 Car” that was raced by the legend in the 60s and 70s.
As part of the partnership with Petty’s Garage, Goodguys will be donating $5000 to the Victory Junction Camp , a camp for children battling life-threatening illnesses founded by Kyle and Pattie Petty.
The Petty’s Garage exhibit will be on display on the midway at a number of Goodguys events this year. Be sure to look for the unique display this season.
