Pace Performance has a new angled carb spacer for dirt track racers that they say has been proven in testing to help with speed-killing engine stumbles in the center of the corner. Pace says they’ve invested months testing on the flow bench, the engine dyno and even with select crate racers in the Northeast and are now ready to make the Accelerator 1 carb spacer available to the public.
The angled carb spacer works by helping to keep the carb level as the car is rocked over to the side through the turns. This helps the floats to operate properly and maintains a stronger booster signal for quicker throttle response and smoother acceleration. The spacer is Fastrak and Nesmith approved and conforms to IMCA Modified and Late Model rules.
Pace says the kit includes their Accelerator 1 angled spacer, upper and lower gaskets, four specially designed washers necessary for proper installation and instructions how to properly modify and tune your carburetor to work best with the spacer. We’re told the kit sells for a hair under $130.
