Garham L. has quite a history when it comes to vintage Pontiac GTOs. He began his history with GTOs in 1981, when he was on his way to the Carlisle Swap Meet in Pennsylvania. While driving through Pennsylvania, he spotted a 1966 GTO on the side of the road for sale.
As soon as he saw the four eyed Pontiac, he knew he was taking it home with him. He and a friend that came with him took the car back to their home in Ontario, Canada. After spending time with the GTO his friend wanted one of his own. Garham helped him locate a 64 GTO ‘vert for sale in St. Catherines, Canada. His friend rebuilt the engine, drove the car for a few years and parked the car in storage where it has sat until recently.
A few years later while on a trip to Alabama, Garham and the same friend came across a another classic GTO. They spotted a 1967 GTO sitting in a used car lot- begging to be driven. His friend couldn’t resist temptation and purchased the car. After owning the car for one year, he began restoring it but life got in the way and he was never able to complete it.
Fast forward to 30 years later, Garham’s friend is moving to the sunny Caribbean and can’t take his priceless rides with him. The friend has agreed to sell both of his GTOs and a 28 Ford Model A to Garham . By being at the right place and knowing the right people Garham has pulled off a hat trick and became the owner of three priceless musclecars. While he doesn’t yet have any plans for the Model A or the 67 GTO but already has a plan laid out for the 1964 GTO.
