There are some companies that offer parts and services for just about every make and model out there. And then there are companies like Danchuk who have constrained their focus to one specific automobile: the 1955-57 Chevrolet. But don’t let that limited make and model line fool you, because their parts catalog is extensive – about 590 pages of extensive, to be exact.
Their coverage also seems to be a bit methodical, too, because they’ll work on getting coverage for certain parts or trim for the ’57 Chevy, then the ’56, and then the ’55. But that process isn’t a slow one, as they brought out a beautiful 19587 Chevrolet this year that was built with parts from their catalog – many of them new parts that are part of the 741 new items added to the catalog this year.
The car catching everyone’s attention this year was wearing Danchuk’s new smoothie front bumper, and Special Events & Promotions Director Dale Keesee told us, “We’ve been hard at work developing new parts for the Tri-5 all year. We’re currently working on a smoothie front bumper for the ’56, as well as all the side trim for it, too.”
There’s nothing wrong with sticking to what you know best when it comes to the automotive aftermarket, and Dancuk has been making sure that all of their parts will fit as well – or better – than the original parts. It’s not easy making parts to fit a 50+ year old car when there are so few available to make the molds from, but from the looks of the gorgeous ’57 in their booth this year, Danchuk has it figured out.
