If you’ve ever “liked” your favorite car manufacturer on Facebook, you know that there are oodles of fans posting up comments and talking about their own cars. I always thought these fan pages were merely to network with other individuals that share that same automotive interests and loyalties.
However, some car manufacturers are actually reading comments and requests on the networking site. Best of all, they’re responding to their fans and giving them even more of a reason to favor their beloved automotive companies. Thanks to Social Car News for bringing us the news.
Recently on DriveSRT’s Facebook fan page, a post was made by Todd F., a very engaged follower, requesting more pictures of the’12 Dodge Charger SRT8. The manufacturer listened and responded to the request by posting up nine images just for Todd.
These images were not ones shot on the showroom floor or in an official photo shoot for advertisement. SRT wanted to give Todd just what he asked for, images of the car out of the auto show scene.
In conjunction with the photos on Facebook, SRT also released a video of the ’12 Charger on SocialCarNews.com.
So if you have a comment or a request for your favorite manufacturer, don’t hesitate to post them up to their Facebook fan page. Who knows, you may just get your requests met like Todd did.
