The booming sound of thunder could be heard echoing through an industrial park as two Detroit classics lined up to race. It was a classic Ford vs Chevy show down between a mean 4th Gen Mustang GT and a cackling first Gen Camaro.
The specs on these cars are unknown as Bay Area Racing refuses to give out the specs on any of their racers. The green 4th Gen Mustang is sitting on a set of Mickey Thompson drag tires and has a cowl induction hood which means the original 4.6L is unlikely. According to the title the car has a Vortech supercharger and one commenter claims the car has a 302. The grey 1st Generation Camaro is sitting on a set of Hooiser drag tires, has a cowl induction hood and is powered by a unknown big block.
After Pimp Juice was laid down on the pavement, the Mustang gave a long smokey burnout followed by the Camaro roasting his tires. The Mustang felt his tires weren’t warm enough so he did a second burnout before entering a staging contest with the Camaro.
The cars were finally staged, the flash light shined and the musclecars left the starting line as if they were fired from the barrel of a rifle. Before cars left the line at the same time but the power of the big block let the F-Body to over take the Stang and taste victory.
