When you hear the term ’57 Chevy, chances are images of a classic Tri Five will instantly pop into your head. But for Gordon Kendall of Cheney, Washington, his ’57 Chevy comes in the form of a pickup truck. But this isn’t just any truck- it’s a TCI-equipped, Goodguys award winning truck that we recently came across on TCI Engineering’s Facebook page. Color us partial to classics, but we think this vibrantly hued truck is one fine collector vehicle with the perfect blend of modifications.

The deep orange truck was built by Marty Stromberger and his crew at Stromberger Performance in Spokane, Washington. Under the expertly polished hood, you’ll find a ZZ3 350ci engine matched with a 144 blower and twin turbochargers. That’s right, this elegant truck is turbocharged giving it just about 400hp to the wheels.
Adding to the truck’s performance is a TCI Engineering coil spring front end complete with dropped spindles. In the rear, the truck sports TCI’s custom 4-link suspension system with a Currie Enterprises 9-inch rear axle.
To top it all off, the truck is fitted with Wilwood 4-piston calipers on all four corners.
This Chev is so gorgeous that we just couldn’t help flipping through the pictures several times and we weren’t the only ones that saw the pickup for it’s true beauty.
Between the gorgeous red/orange paint to the turbocharged engine under the hood, we just can't get enough of this classic Chevy truck.
Thanks to the TCI suspension, Kendall not only has a gorgeous and powerful ride but it’s also one he can use and abuse like a proper hot rod should be.
