Ridetech's booth stayed busy all weekend long weighing hot rods and helping customers meet their suspension needs.

When it comes to hot rods, muscle cars, and customs Ridetech isn’t just a high-performance suspension company – they are also enthusiasts who like to have fun! That’s why they hit the road throughout the year and visit more shows across the country than most. They clock some serious miles both east and west of their home base in Jasper, Indiana.

This year they hit the 2012 Frog Follies show which isn’t too far from home so they brought out the whole crew to enjoy the beautiful custom scenery and awesome family show atmosphere. Since 1975, every August the E’ville Iron Street Rod Club has put on a rod run for pre-1949 street rod owners held at the Vanderburgh County 4-H Center in Evansville, Indiana. With over 4,000 entrants, hot rodders come from all over the world including entires as far away as Alaska, Australia, and Canada, and all throughout the 48 continental states. Since 2010 Frog Follies has earned the title as “the largest pre-49 Street Rod event in the world.”

As Ridetech spends most shows working hard and weighing your cars to help dial in your suspension, they don’t often get to enjoy the show themselves so they appreciate the show coming to them. Their booth is a main attraction at many of the large hot rod events, and is well worth a visit. This year at the Frog Follies they were able to snap a few pics of their favorite rides from the show and give us an inside look at one of the years’s largest pre-49 events.

With a show that provides fun for the whole family with games, activities, and dances throughout the weekend, the friendly family atmosphere keeps people coming back year after year. Not to mention, the swap meet held in conjunction with the rod run is full of great finds and the commercial street rod vendor area has over 600 hundred spaces, bringing you both new and used parts to wrap up that build.

Since 1975, with the help of several local groups the Frog Follie rod run has grown and with the continued support from street rodders from all over the country, E’ville Iron has donated over 2 million dollars to local charities and provided scholarships for the past ten years to help further careers in the automotive industry and helping keep the street rod interest alive in the younger generations.

Now we see why Ridetech and many others always find the time to go and support the Follies along with many other awesome street rod events that give back to the communities they are a part of.
