There’s no doubt that you’ve seen our friends from Speedway Motors at a lot of Goodguys events around the country, but this week the Goodguys show came to Speedway’s headquarters in Lincoln, Nebraska as the 2012 Goodguys RodFather Tour stopped by for a visit. Created to help Andy “RodFather” Brizio celebrate his 80th birthday, the RodFather tour has brought together more than 100 of Andy’s closest friends for a caravan to the Goodguys Wix Speedway Nationals in Indianapolis.

It’s not often you get a trio of rodding legends like this together. Roy Brizio, Speedy Bill, and Andy Brizio shared a few laughs and conversation at the Museum of American Speed.

You might notice that we are huge fans of driving your hot rods and customs to shows both near and far, which is why you have seen so many cool daily used hot rods lately. This tour is no exception and we love the idea and people behind creating such an event. The RodFather tour stopped at Speedway Motors on Monday for a visit to Speedway’s massive warehouse and to tour the fantastic Museum of American Speed.

The tour group is a lucky bunch and get to see quite a few of the countries favorite automotive shops, stops, and locations – all the while, enjoying cruising their rods cross-country. You know we’ll definitely keep you updated right here on RA for all of the happenings and cool tour coverage, so check back often!
