The National Street Rod Association (NSRA) is ready to kick off its 2024 show season with the  47th Western Street Rod Nationals April 26-28th. The Kern County Fairgrounds in Bakersfield, California is going to be packed with awesome rides and you’ll want to be there to check them out.

This annual event stands as the premier gathering of classic and custom cars in the Western United States. Enthusiasts can expect an impressive showcase of over 1,400 classic and custom cars from across the nation, representing a diverse array of vehicles, including street rods, muscle cars, hot rods, and classic cars and trucks, all aged over thirty years.

Event Director, Mike Adams, has popular attractions coming back again this year, including specialty manufacturers and automotive-related product dealers. Additionally, attendees can explore an automotive swap meet, an arts and crafts show, as well as engaging kid’s games and coloring contest. Entertainment will be provided by Orphan Jon and the Abandoned, on Friday and Saturday night from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and Nick Donovan’s Rockin’ Road Show will entertain attendees daily from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The event will feature special attractions such as Pro’s Picks, Outstanding Use of Color, ISCA Picks, and selections by NSRA Reps. & NSRA Safety Reps., all to be chosen on Saturday and showcased in the prestigious Circle of Winners on Sunday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Sunday’s schedule includes an all-denomination church service at 10:00 am, followed by the awards ceremony starting at 1:00 pm. Over forty awards will be presented during this time to deserving participants.

Spectator ticket hours are: 8:00am to 7:00pm on both Friday & Saturday, 8:00am to 12:30pm on Sunday. Tickets for all activities are open to the public, with spectator ticket hours from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday, and 8:00 am to 12:30 pm on Sunday. Admission prices are $20.00 for individuals aged 13 and older, $6.00 for children ages 6 to 12, and free for children 5 and under when accompanied by an adult. Families can enjoy the event for $45.00, which includes admission for 2 adults and 3 children (12 years & younger). Discounts of $2.00 are offered to active military, seniors over 60, and NSRA members, all with proper identification. One discount is applicable per person.
