We came across this awesome compilation of 1968 Dodge Charger pictures, that were put on the site Flick River. Scott Crawford owns the ‘68 Charger you see in the pictures, and we can thank his brother Clint for most of the photography work. Besides being Scott’s favorite muscle car, it’s also his passion. He purchased the car in March of 1977 from the original owner, and the car still wears its original paint and interior. The car was also an original RT with the 440 Magnum, and it was ordered with the stripe delete option.
Scott also wants to point out that he is amazed at how photogenic the car is to different backgrounds. We are sure you will agree that the Charger photographs very nicely. We realize that everyone has an opinion to what their favorite muscle car is, and if nothing else the pictures will give you inspiration and ideas for backgrounds when photographing your car.
Take a look at the pictures as each one tells a story, maybe it even brings back a childhood memory of when you were first introduced to the world of muscle cars, and bitten by the car bug.
Inside the gallery, you’ll notice the picture of the little girl riding in the back of the ‘68 Charger certainly hits a nerve, especially if you have children, and you had the privilege of giving them their first ride in a piece of Detroit’s history, we never forgot our first ride and neither will they.
We loved the picture of the Charger right at home with its cousins, the Super Bee, and GTX. It’s amazing how the car looks just as good standing still as it does cruising down the highway.
The second-generation Charger is very iconic, the design, its crisp lines, and it’s engineered performance, proves that it is one of the most beautiful cars ever produced by ‘Ma Mopar, it has a prestige that will never go out of style, whether you’re 8 or 80, there is something to say about early muscle, it puts a smile on our face.
Enjoy the pictures, we did, especially the black and whites with the Charger in the industrial settings. Maybe we are going out on a limb by saying this… the Charger is comparable with Jennifer Lopez; they are both beautiful images, no matter where they are found.
