The Top Award Picks From The NSRA Mid-America Nationals

The 34th NSRA Mid-America Nationals was held in Springfield in late May. The coveted “Pros Pick” awards, sponsored by Classic Instruments, is presented at each NSRA event from sea to shining sea, west coast to east coast, and all points in between for 2017. One of the most sought after awards in the street rod community, the selection team picks the top five street rods from each event. Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri.

Here are the “Pro’s Pick” winners from the NSRA Mid-America Nationals held on May 26th, 27th & 28th, 2017 in the “Show Me” state:

Ken & Faye Davis – Rogers, Arkansas – 1955 Chevrolet Nomad
Ernie & Julie Dake – Springfield, Missouri – 1933 Ford
Mork & Kim Blackketter – Tulsa, Oklahoma – 1932 Ford
Jack & Nancy Benge – Topeka, Kansas – 1961 Ford
Bert & Nina Wallace – Shelbina, Missouri – 1970 AMX

NSRA’s award for the Outstanding Use of Color at the Mid-America event went to this beautiful 1932 Ford Coupe shown by Jack Jolley of El Paso, Arkansas, and this magnificent 1956 Chevrolet shown by Don & Judy Holmes of Lees Summit, Missouri.

The Ford In A Ford award sponsored by Ford Performance went to Paul Pedrick from Tulsa, Oklahoma with his beautiful 1940 Ford Coupe:
