A large part of scoring rare cars, or getting a great deal on one has to do with being at the right place at the right time with a pocket full of cash. We’ve all heard of that guy, perhaps it’s your cousins, uncle’s friend’s dad’s car that he sold some years ago at an unbelievable price because he needed the money, and you thought, “Man, where was I?” Well, few of us are that lucky, and we need to hunt these cars down the old fashioned way, on the internet. Among the very rare, very collectable, and very beautiful cars being auctioned will be this gorgeous, “Vitamin-C Orange,” 1970 Plymouth Superbird.

The Superbird is a real numbers matching Hemi car complete with 2, 4bbl Carter carburetors. It has undergone a full rotisserie restoration, and been in a private collection it’s entire life. Suffice to say, everything works on this car and it’s ready to roll. The Superbird is even registered in the NASCAR Registry.

If you’re asking yourself why anyone would ever let such a glorious bird go, try not to be too hard on the owner that has to let this baby leave the nest. Who knows?
