One lesson in life that many of us have a hard time following is trying not to think about what would have happened if we had only taken a different route in our car. Usually, these hard lessons are only prevalent when someone gets into an accident, and they’re the victim of the proverbial “in the right place at the wrong time”. We all prefer to be in the right place at the right time, because that typically means that we were spared an unfortunate incident. Being there at the wrong time, not so much.

Take, for instance, the driver of this nice newer Challenger. When he departed his prior location, he probably never thought that he would be on YouTube in the days that followed. He also probably never thought about what would happen if he had stopped for gas, or a bite to eat. Or, perhaps he did stop at another venue, and that is what put him on the path that is the focus of this video.

But, as someone once said, “you can’t live in the ‘what if’ lane when something happens”, and that basically means that whatever happens, happens, and you can’t predict what would will happen – or what could have happened – if you changed your plans that day. This driver probably wishes he had done something differently, because pulling up to a stop light, doing what you’re supposed to do, shouldn’t present you with a close encounter of the Ford kind.

Hopefully, nobody was hurt – other than the heartache of seeing the ass-end of your new Challenger smashed up. If there is a bright side to this, it’s that fortunately there wasn’t another vehicle crossing the path of the Challenger at the time of this accident.

Who knows what the driver of the truck was doing – it’s hard to miss a 4,000 pound hunk of metal in your path, let alone the red light up ahead. If anyone was at the right place at the right time, it would be the driver with the video camera.
