We’ve been entertained by the plethora of Russian dash cam videos that have captured car crashes from just about every angle, climate and location in the former Soviet Union. The abundance of these Russian crash videos left us wanting something new. Something out of the normal and routine YouTube postings. As we searched the internet for something new, we stumbled upon a compilation of dash cam crash videos from the far east. Thinking that we were in for more of the same, we were excited to see some major differences in the Asian crash video compilation. Most notably… no snow.
While we love the Siberian look of most of the Russian dash cam videos, a little change in scenery is a welcomed touch in the Asian crash videos. Don’t get us wrong, we love tough weather conditions as much as anyone, but snow can be boring after the gazillionth time. Monsoon rainshowers… now that is a nice new twist on crash videos.
We also noticed several other differences in the Asian crash video compilation:
- There is no shortage of boy bands on Asian radio stations.
- Asian drivers love to use their car horns – especially after a crash.
- Small domestic Asian vehciles are easily over-steered causing many of the crashes.
- Rain. Lots of Rain.
- Scooters. There are lots of scooters to avoid.
- Those little trucks are so cute!
We’d love to hear what differences you noticed in this video compared to the typical Russian crash cam compilation video. Leave a response in the comment section below.
