When selling an exhaust kit, most companies advertise all the benefits of their specific system. Flowmaster, on the other hand found a new way of advertising their products- letting them speak for themselves. Thanks to a YouTube video released by Flowmaster, we can all experience what their Super 40 kit sounds like on the road.
The video shows a ‘69 Dodge Daytona equipped with the Flowmaster Super 40 kit driving around on what seems to be an isolated section of road. The video is shot from all different angles including eye level and on the ground. The Daytona is shot from the front, side and rear as it drives around, giving viewers a good sense of what the exhaust sounds like from all different perspectives.
While the video doesn’t have any narration, the exhaust sound is advertisement enough for the kit. The exhaust sounds very throaty and has a true American muscle tone to it. While the exhaust sound is noticeable, it is not too loud and fits the Daytona’s stance accordingly. This video is a nice change of pace when it comes to advertising products. If I were looking for an exhaust system, I would appreciate more advertisements like this video rather than the ordinary laundry list of benefits. This video puts the list of benefits in perspective, showing potential customers what Flowmaster can do for a classic muscle car.
