Working in conjunction with the National Muscle Car Association, Baer Brakes and other series sponsors, Hotchkis Sport Suspension has announced a new event to be held at California Speedway, July 8 to 10. Activities will include autocrossing, a speed-stop challenge and car show on Sunday.
The events are part of the Inaugural JE Pistons NMCA/NMRA West Coast Shootout, presented by Lucas Oil. The NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals and the NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals will add a special Racers Against Street Racing True Street Challenge, a massive vendor midway and the “Legendary Burnout Contest.”
Hotchkis Sport Suspension is sponsoring the autocross and everyone is welcome. Your ticket will also include the Baer Brake Systems Speed-Stop-Challenge.
The Baer Brake Systems Speed-Stop-Challenge combines the rush of a drag-style launch and then tests both you and your car 600-feet later when you must stop inside a 20-foot wide and 40-foot deep stop box. The shortest elapsed time from dead stop to the car at rest completely within the stop box is the winner.
