Almost every drag racer has had an “oh crap” moment and for those who haven’t your day will probably come when you are least expecting it. At Ozark Raceway Park, in Rogersville Missouri, the driver of a cherry little pickup truck had his hands very full at the big end of the drag strip. Despite the sizable rear slicks and purpose built suspension, the truck got a little loose toward the end of the track.

According to the sticker on the door, the truck was likely to have been driven by Mike Gage. Apparently, Mr. Gage is quite a driver because he manages to keep the truck from colliding with the guard rail and finally gets his wild ride under control.
Having the front tires hanging in the air is a normal occurrence at the drags, but when a rear tire is catching some air you have a true “oh crap” moment. Fortunately, the back tire only caught air once and the truck was muscled back under control. Unfortunately, the driver’s underwear was likely a total loss.
