There is nothing more American than a classic muscle car and some serious tire destruction. When the muscle car is a 1965 Pontiac GTO, complete with a Pontiac engine it only increases the cool factor. Sure, the video may date back a couple of years but much like a GTO these things do age gracefully. T
hanks to the 400 engine complete with a solid cam (custom of course), Tripower and the Muncie M-22 Rockcrusher this goat can get down the road. As Bill (Spohn Performance) hits the line-lock the engine begins rev and the smoke starts to bellow from the rear tires. During the course of this minute long video on what appears to be a back road, the GTO nearly disappears from view.

Once the car and the surrounding background is almost completely obscured from view, the line-lock is released the GTO emerges from the cloud. As the ’65 blasts down the road two large and very long black marks are left behind.
In a subsequent video, Bill’ pilots the GTO much to the delight of his friends and YouTube viewers, with a smaller burnout, that turns a miniature pass complete with a little wiggle in the rear. During the second video, Bill heads toward the direction of the initial burnout; this is where is possible to really gauge the length of the first burnout.
