One of the finishing touches to any gorgeous kustom is that fresh new layer of paint. It has the power to set an individual’s car apart and immortalize it. Along with imaginative fabrication and gutsy parts swaps, the paint job leaves an indelible image in the minds of those who lay eyes on a painstakingly resurrected kustom.

Ryan chose DNA paints for his Ford Galaxie’s new paint job. According to the paint company’s homepage, “DNA paints are developed and manufactured in Melbourne, Australia. The brand started operating in 2005 when we found many custom painters could not get the products, colors, or the technical support required from their current distributors.”
What do you think of Ryan Ford’s paint job? Whether you’re a fan of the style or not Noisy Brigades high-definition video is a great capture of the meticulous nature, patience, and attention to detail required of automotive painters to see their work through–even if the title claims the paint job was wrapped up in just four hours.
