What is it about donut videos that make us watch them over and over again? Is it the tire smoke, the raw power of the cars or just the novelty of the action?

While we can’t pin point what it is about donut videos in general that thrill us, we know exactly why we’ve watched the one of the oldie but goodie videos posted on TopSpeed.com numerous times. We’ll give you a hint, it has to do with a little something called American muscle at its finest.

Yes, it’s true that this video is no different from many other donut videos in mere logistics. It is, after all, another video of a car burning some rubber in a parking lot. However, the fact that the car in this particular video is a blown ‘70 Charger complete with Plum Crazy Purple paint, makes this video a whole lot better than just any old donut video you find on YouTube.

Not only is the Charger impressive on its own, the donuts it creates are some of the best we’ve seen in awhile. They are everything any car enthusiast could want, complete with a hot car, plenty of smoke and lots of tire treads on the pavement. The only thing we’d like to know is where we sign up for a ride like the Charger’s passenger got.
