Video: Speed and Custom Car Show in Ontario Gets Their Shine On, Eh?

Canada and their friendly inhabitants often take an unjust and untrue rap for being second tier in certain areas. But the Speed and Custom Car Show 2012 event held in London, Ontario took a back seat to no one! This slick video produced by CarWarz is evidence that the hot rod culture is firmly set and growing in the land North of the United States.

The entries for this show rival the absolute best anywhere in the world. Show stoppers of every configuration could be found throughout. Bonus points awarded for those who guess the car with the diamond in the back.

For some people (depending on your browser) the music soundtrack may stop around the :50 second mark, but don’t let that possible glitch stop you from enjoying the full 13 minute reel of super trick cars. Along with the cool classics, customs and rods of the traditional camp, there are lots of newer entries into our world that are definitely worthy of the “hot rod” designation.

It wouldn’t be a complete car show without movie and TV related rides. The iconic Batmobile, Scoobie Doo’s Mystery Machine and a Sponge Bob themed gasser all made an appearance at the London, Ontario event.

This just might be another event we have to add to our ever growing bucket list and head up North to check it out, Eh?
