Striving to get their dreams out, one individual went above and beyond with this one-off custom. Tricked out from front to back, this first-generation Chevrolet C-10 pickup truck posted on PiTV has all the makings of a Frankenstein automobile.
Complete with a radical roof chop, teeth in front of the front glass, and even a bamboo truck bed with hay, this Chevy stands out from the rest simply because of its uniqueness. Upon first glance, we were astonished at what this builder accomplished.
What looks straight out of the Hollywood film Mad Max, this first generation Chevy truck has a post-apocalyptic feel to it. The fact that there is no front windshield and simply just two pieces of glass gives that vehicle a battle or derby car aesthetic.
However, the front end is very open, with no fenders, front bumper, or hood. The custom looks to have a blown V8 engine that churns steadily at idle and at cruising speeds.
The spider web grille that fills the rear window of the truck’s cabin adds a nice touch as well, giving the vehicle even more imagination to complement its aggressively chopped top and shaved door handles. Even the truck bed frame that holds all the bamboo together has skulls and a cemetery style fence-like frame.
With so much exposed, this Chevy truck is one cool build simply because of its cartoonish visual cues. It looks like it could be a mean villain in a Cars animated film. If this were the grim reaper’s ride of choice, we’d commend him on his taste for customs and the originality of this Chevy truck.
