Video: Third Generation Camaro Repo Gone Bad

As bad days go, having your car repossessed for most people is just as about as bad as it can get. For one owner, we see just how quickly things can escalate and get ugly for all involved. While the repo man is no fan-favorite and is often viewed as the bad guy, what these hired hands often endure on a daily basis can go from comical to downright dangerous in a matter of seconds. Seeing things were not going as smooth as they would have liked, the repo man in question in our latest YouTube find captures the complete fiasco on video.

What began in one owners driveway, in about a five minute time span takes to the streets of this local neighborhood for all too see. When the repo man comes to collect the capital for an unpaid bond it goes from bad to worse in a hurry.

From removing the lug nuts, to blocking the path of the tow truck, the owner of this third-generation Chevrolet Camaro does just about everything and anything they can in a last ditch effort to attempt to save their car. In a Jerry Springer moment, with the help of a female companion, chaos erupts that ultimately results in damage to the Camaro when the owner smashes the rear window.

Eventually, the cops arrive with the female accomplice quickly attempting to justify her behavior in the hopes of likely trying to avoid a trip downtown for a cooling off. With the owner obviously not happy to lose his means of transportation one must ask: is it really worth the risk of losing your freedom – or worse: possibly causing bodily harm to yourself or others? We invite you to sound off in the comments below.

About the author

Bridgett Davis

Growing up in Greenwood, Indiana a short distance from the world famous Indianapolis Motor Speedway, my dad would take me to local car shows and events. Through this I gained my passion. Along with cars, I have always loved photography, writing, and graphic arts. However when attending college I did not pursue my passions. I played it safe and majored in business and marketing. After a few years in this field I determined this was not for me and began to pursue a writing and photography career. Landing me here with Power Automedia. I am also now the business owner of Bridgett's Toxic Creations. Specializing in automobile showboards, custom license plates, logos, and website headers. Living and breathing the Mustang life everyday in everyway. To be able to work in my field of passion is amazing and fun experience everyday. The best part is sharing a common passion with others.
