We love the South. There’s something about living somewhere where the air is clean, the grass grows naturally – whether you want it to or not – and you’re still allowed to practice your 2nd Amendment rights (as you can tell, the powerTV offices are in California). The best thing about the South is that there’s no shortage of crazy car guys willing to try anything. While that could lead to some rather sketchy practices, it does bear some interesting fruit.
Check out this wild four-wheel-drive Ram that has since been converted to a mud bogger. For those of you who don’t know what on earth a mud bogger is, we strongly suggest going to YouTube and typing it into the search bar. Go ahead. We’ll wait…
There. Now you know. Well, this Mopar ‘bogger is no slouch either, touting a RB440 capped with 6-71 blower. The force-fed Wedge motor was dynoed 680 horsepower at 6600rpm. This that’s a whole helluva lot of oomph for this swamp creature, it was high time to test out the transmission. Just for fun, a quartet of hard rubber tractor tires were bolted on and given the ol’ burnout test.
You’ll notice that the first run was cut short as it was accidently bumped into neutral. The second run was ran all the way through 3rd gear. When it comes so burnouts, two wheels are great, but four is so much better!
