For some of us, getting out into the snow with our very first car taught a couple of lessons – first and foremost, don’t do donuts near anything you could run into, and secondly, the understanding of under-and over-steer and how it would be beneficial throughout life.
Those are the same skills that drift drivers use in their exploits, along with other professional drivers. But where can you go to learn these techniques, if it’s not snowing and you don’t have access to a professional course? That’s where EasyDrift’s Driver Training System comes into play.
This unique setup provides the Driver Training System rings to be installed on top of the vehicle’s factory wheel and tire assembly. The rings can be installed on front wheels, or rear wheels, or all four, to train drivers on the skills required to complete low – and high – speed skid maneuvers.
Because the system allows the car to achieve a level of reduced grip comparable with wet skidpads or other skid training solutions in a small area with no extra equipment, cost is reduced while training can be completed in smaller areas than previously required.
EasyDriftUSA offers two different instructor-level courses along with an advanced driver training course with their products. These courses are designed to help the driver better understand vehicle dynamics and how they are affected by various driving inputs.
The system is used by law enforcement, driving academies, and professional driving schools to teach their students hands-on skid recovery and advanced driving skills at safer, lower speeds than previously required to teach this type of driving.
