American Racing is an industry leader in producing custom wheel designs for classic hot rod and modern street rod aesthetics. Their ad campaigns are also infamous for blending two things that have gone hand in hand since cars evolved from mere grocery getters to rolling works of amp’d up art–beautiful women and classics.
We recently stumbled upon some preview shots of a new photo set posted on American Racing’s Facebook of model Tera Sugimoto. If you scroll American Racing’s Facebook and head to their website you’ll get a taste of just how busy our friends at American Racing are shooting captivating shots of their wheels paired off with gorgeous models alongside some timeless rides.
Wheel companies furnishing some of the industry’s most show-stopping eye candy is no new thing. American Racing’s shoot with Tera Sugimoto is just another fine example of that.
Set to the backdrop of Walden Speedshop in Pomona, California, Tera’s gaze pierces through the camera lens while she adorns a ’57 Cadillac. White walls compliment American Racing’s 15-inch VF491 Vintage Forged wheels.
In a recent news article Rod Authority announced American Racing’s release of eleven brand new Vintage Forged wheels–what sets these apart? Here’s a glance at some of the line’s highlights according to American Racing’s release, “The new Vintage Forged line features wheels that are lightweight, strong, and 100 percent made in the USA.” Chris Plump, sales manager for the Wheel Pros Custom Shop says, “American Racing has been in motorsports since the 1950s, and these two-piece forged styles are a return to our heritage.”
To check out more information on the Vintage Forged line head over to American Racing’s homepage. As for Tera, the ’57, and the VF491 wheel shoot, be on the look out for her set to be used in the company’s sultry ad campaigns that blend, in our opinion, the very best that this side of car culture has to offer.
