EREF establishes scholarships and provides grants to assist those who desire training in the field of engine building and rebuilding. Scholarship and grant recipients are chosen based on qualifications and information provided in the letter from the applicant or employer outlining why he/she should be considered and the written explanation describing how the course will benefit the applicant and employer. Built by legendary engine builder Mike Mavrigian, for a $5 donation, you will receive two tickets to win this cool LS engine that will be raffled away on Dec. 12, the final day of the PRI show – at 1 PM in the AERA (Engine Builders Association) Booth #5514.  Winners do not need to be present to win. Free shipping within the Continental US is included. All proceeds benefit the EREF.

The 408cid LS engine is rated at 629.5 horsepower and 555.6 Lb. Ft of torque. The 6.0 liter Iron block features a 4.030-inch bore and a 4.00-inch stroke with a deck height of 9.230-inched and rod length of 6.125-inches. Compression is 11.4:1 Total retail value of the engine is $21,705.
