The basis of the project is Factory Five‘s proven MK4 Challenge series car and we optioned Street Completion package to make it road worthy. This way we can drive to the track, compete, and drive home. Our Factory Five Cobra Jet Challenge project will be built in a home garage and will be highly documented; every time we work on the car we will update you with our progress. In addition, there will be full tech articles on the larger portions of the build.

The engine is where the Cobra Jet portion of the project name comes to play. Last year we built a Coyote engine that was based closely of Ford Racing’s naturally aspirated Cobra Jet engine program, producing 624.9 hp and 462.3 lb-ft of torque – on a conservative 12:1 compression ratio.
