Mahle Motorsport has announced the release of their PowerPak Pistons and PowerPak Piston Kits for two of Ford’s most popular crate engines, the Coyote all-aluminum 5.0-liter V8 and 5.2-liter “Voodoo” V8.
Designed and manufactured with the same standards as Mahle’s Cobra Jet pistons produced for Ford Racing; each PowerPak piston is machined to the highest standards for the ultimate in strength, reliability and performance.
PowerPak pistons have hard anodized top ring grooves to do away with micro-welding. They are phosphate-coated to protect against galling in the pin bores, and feature Mahle’s Grafal anti-fraction skirt coating.
In addition to the piston, the PowerPak kit includes German steel pins, ultra-flat, file fit performance ring set, and round wire locks.
