AmericanMuscle, one of the leading aftermarket parts providers for Mustangs, revealed their 2019 Mustang GT project car in the latest edition of their Hot Lap series of videos.
Hosted by Justin Dugan, the video features a lap in his brand new 2019 Mustang GT in Oxford White. What makes this car unusual for Justin is that he decided to join the dark side by opting for a 10-speed automatic instead of the six-speed, and also loaded up on some extras like the Bang & Olufsen upgraded stereo, and leather covered Recaro seats in lieu of his normal stripper cars.
In the video, Justin provides his reasoning for the specs he chose, as well as why he opted to pass on any of Ford’s performance package options. In addition to the hot lap, Justin runs his pony on AmericanMuscle’s in-house dyno, to get some baseline figures on regular 87 octane.
