If you haven’t fallen in love with rat rods yet, then you probably haven’t seen this video and you certainly haven’t seen Mike Partyka’s ‘31 Model A Ford truck. This no-boundaries build is quite honestly one of the coolest rats we’ve ever seen with a monstrous 600hp powerhouse and controversial wheel choice you’ll either love or love to hate. Check it out in action in the video above.

Partyka’s truck has everything that a rat rod enthusiast would look for in a vehicle- rusty body, a no care in the world attitude, tons of little details that many are sure to miss, and certainly a bare-bones appeal. But what this rat rod has that others do not is a uniqueness that goes even beyond the norm in rat rod culture. Every rat rod is unique but it’s probably safe to bet that you won’t find another one close to the styling of Partyka’s.

That’s because Partyka did most of the work himself and beyond that, he didn’t let the traditional scene dictate what he wanted. That’s how this impressive beast was born, complete with enormous black powder coated Bonspeed billet wheels stretching far beyond the rat’s body and a 600hp power plant suspended mid frame.

Every bit of Partyka's rat rod is enticing and awe inspiring from every angle.
The rat rod also flaunts a full air ride suspension system with onboard tank and compressor stealthily incorporated into the build as the rear frame of the truck. This allows the body of Partyka’s ride to literally perch on the ground for a worm’s eye view when parked while still being able to tackle the imperfections of the road while driving.

There’s nothing quite like a well executed rat rod (which not many people can properly pull off) and we’ve definitely never seen a rat quite like Partyka’s. A true rat scratching to get out of its cage, and we just can’t get enough.
