Borgeson now offers a power steering conversion box for the 1965-’82 midsize Ford and Mercury vehicles. This kit is designed to be a bolt-on item that does not require any modification of the shock towers.

Borgeson Universal has now developed and is producing an integral power steering conversion box for the 1965-1982 Ford & Mercury Mid-Size vehicles. This conversion box is a remanufactured modern power steering gearbox that has undergone extensive modifications to be a direct bolt in for 1965-1982 Mid-Size cars. The Borgeson conversion box will fit with NO modifications to the shock tower is a direct bolt in to the factory mounting location and connects directly to the stock steering linkage. This power steering conversion box is 3” longer than a stock steering box and will require the steering column to be shortened 3” for clearance. For more information please visit www.borgeson.com.
