NorthEast Rod & Custom Car Show, calling itself the “premier” indoor rod, custom and classic car and motorcycle show, is being held in the Philadelphia area at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pennsylvania, on March 25th through the 27th.
This will be one of the most anticipated car shows to hit the east coast, featuring street rods, motorcycles, tuners, monster trucks and muscle cars from all over.
Additionally, scheduled to attend the first ever inaugural indoor car show are motorsports supermodel and personality Jessica Barton, motorsports model Krista Elyse, Jerry Hunt and his wicked ’53 Pro Modified Studebaker “Studezilla,”and Jason Wood and his Pro Mod hearse “Golgotha.” Oh yeah, and former child star and talk show radio host Danny Bonaduce.
A cool addition to the weekend event is the NorthEast Cup and The “Elite 6.” A competition within a competition, the NorthEast Cup and the “Elite 6” are for all cars registered within the Show Class who will be judged on creativity, engineering, workmanship, and general “appeal.”
Narrowed down to six finalists, known as the “Elite 6,” each of the entries chosen will receive a cash award of $2,000, a custom embroidered “Elite 6” jacket, and a special award. The Elite 6 vehicles will be announced during competition on Saturday.
During the awards ceremony Sunday, the NorthEast Cup winner will receive an additional $8000 (making a total purse $10,000 to the winner), a NorthEast Cup winner’s jacket, and trophy.
