The Lamborghini Huracán Performante is arguably one of the best performance, non-exclusive Lambos ever made. While the Lamborghini Aventador carries a larger, more powerful engine, even a car of that magnitude can’t compare to the performance of the lighter and more agile Huracán Performante. This was is a nasty little supercar, and even Jay Leno is excited to get some seat time in one.
Lamborghini has already showed the world what the Huracán Performante is capable of at Germany’s Nürburgring, but this is a great look at what the supercar is capable on the streets, in the hands of a real car guy.
As we find out in this video, the supercar manufacturer took an extremely well-thought-out and intelligent approach when it came to the development of the Huracán Performante. They were set out to achieve pure performance, which involved reducing the weight of the car, and improving up the aerodynamics.
Lamborghini gave the model more flaps and channels to direct air to the areas that will help move the car to the ground. There’s also a reduced drag mode to help get the car to top speeds.
Jay is visibly impressed by the technology found all throughout this stunningly brilliant green car. Alessandro Farmeschi, Lamborghini’s own, helps to walk Jay through every impressive inch of the Huracán Performante before hitting the road. The car rules the roads, but really showed what it was made of once the pair reached the canyons.
Jay Leno gives his approval on this car, citing how impressive it is, and we definitely agree!
