Some new hardware will be handed out for the first time this weekend, with a trio of Xceleration Media Editors’ Choice Award trophies set to be presented at the Du Quoin Street Machine Nationals in Illinois. Editors from Gearheads4Life, Power & Performance News, and Street Rod Life will make their picks for the vehicle that best demonstrates the attributes each title represents.
The one-of-a-kind, hand-built trophies feature an all-steel construction and are the creation of Mark Kennemer at FastLane Metalworx in Laceys Spring, Alabama.
Similar trophies will also be presented later this summer during Minnesota’s St. Paul Street Machine Nationals and the Fall Street Machine Nationals in Springfield, Missouri.
