When it comes to electronics, it can be difficult to make every brand of product play nicely with everyone else.
That, apparently, is the case when trying to run a Tel Tac brand tachometer when you have one of Crane’s excellent HI-6 or HEI ignition systems. But instead of writing it off at a Tel Tac issue, the engineers at Crane came up with a simple-to-use adaptor that can be used to correct an irregular readout from the tachometer.
This lightweight billet unit is completely sealed in soft urethane to protect from vibration and moisture. A convenient #8 size though hole can be used to hard mount under the dash area with a nut/bolt combination or with a zip tie. All leads are color-coded for ease of installation.
