While at the PRI racing trade show, we stopped to talk with ATI’s JC Beattie Jr about how the company has become one of the leading manufacturers for automatic transmissions in super high horsepower applications–especially drag racing.
Beattie’s secret, it turns out, is to maintain obsessive levels of control over every component, from the case all the way down to the springs used in the transmission.
