Despite being one of the greatest drag racers that has ever lived, “Big Daddy” Don Garlits rarely grants interviews.
But when he does, boy, is it worth waiting for.
The man affectionately known as Big Daddy gave this interview to ESPN during the NHRA Gatornationals and spoke lovingly of his wife, Pat, who just recently passed after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. We won’t bother you with much else other than to definitely recommend you give this video a few minutes of your time–it’s definitely worth it.
