With the 2013 SEMA show just around the bend, major automakers are mounting up for a massive PR campaign to prove they’ve got the best goods for your aftermarket buck. Ford, GM, and Chrysler always put on impressive displays with multitudes of vehicles, and this year we don’t expect anything different.
Chrysler, flush with booming sales and excellent reviews, is launching an all-out offensive on SEMA this year with some 20 Moparized vehicles on display. Running the gamut from import-fighting compacts to big bad pickup trucks, and with plenty of American muscle on tap too, Chrysler is all-in at SEMA 2013.
Just what, exactly, we should expect from Mopar and Chrysler isn’t said though. We’re sure they’ll eventually get around to releasing the details, but for now we’re left to wonder what modified vehicles will be at the 15,000 square-feet of floor space dedicated to the brand. The all-new Jeep Cherokee is sure to be fitted with plenty of Mopar parts, and the Ram brand has always been a big player at SEMA.
As far as the big muscle goes, the Challenger, Charger, and Chrysler 300 should all roll out in Mopar accessories, as well as the new Dodge Dart. While we’d love to see a Mopar version of the Viper, we don’t want to get our hopes up. There is, however, a chance that the all-new supercharged HEMI “Hellcat” engine could break cover at SEMA.
Keep those fingers crossed kiddies.
