In an effort to keep its line of new cars fresh and feeling youthful, Chrysler has gone a long way towards offering a variety of special editions and packages aimed at certain demographics. Last year Chrysler offered the “Blacktop Edition” package for the Dodge Charger SXT, offering an even sportier look for the Charger SXT.

Well this package has proven popular enough that Chrysler will now offer the Blacktop Edition on the Dodge Avenger, as well as the Charger R/T and Challenger R/T models.

Starting with the Avenger (which is rumored to be on its way out), the $595 Blacktop Edition package is offered only on the SCT model. However, it can be had in either black, Redline Red 2,Bright White, Tungsten Metallic, and Billet Silver Metallic. The Blacktop Edition Avenger adds 18-inch gloss black wheels, a gloss-black front grille, and dark-tinted headlamps.

Moving up to the Challenger R/T Blacktop Edition, you get upgraded wheels in the form of 20-inch gloss black wheels. The $1,995 package also adds a matte black stripe, the Super Track Pak, and red accents running from front to back.

Finally, the four-door Charger R/T can be had with the Blacktop package for $1,795. It also adds 20-inch gloss black wheels, as well as a 10-speaker audio system with Beats By Dre and a 552-watt amplifier. Looks like the new Dodge lineup has a little something for everyone in terms of the Blacktop Package, wouldn’t you say?
