If you’ve ever called in to tech support for Crane Cams, you may have spoken to one of the more colorful drag racers ever and never realized it. Bob Stratman is retiring from Crane Cams after spending 36 years helping the company’s customers go faster, and we wanted to wish him a happy retirement.
A drag racer from 1958-1978, Bob held the national records for Elapsed Time and M.P.H., for over seven years in the A/Dragster class. He earned the nickname “Two Motor Bob” while racing four twin engine cars in the 60’s and 70’s.
Bob began his work at Crane Cams in 1978, as a Technical Support Representative, specializing in drag racing and truck and tractor pulling.
We hope that Bob enjoys his retirement, and will truly miss his expertise and dedication.
