Now that two thirds of the country wears a snow blanket, many have been finding creative ways to occupy their time until the environment returns to something approaching normal. Often, this means lending a helping hand to others that are having more difficulty than you are.
So it was in Little Rock, AR, recently when a Dodge Ram truck owner stopped to help out an 18-wheeler that was not managing well in the 2011 “Snowplosion.” With nothing more than a tow chain and a decent set of tires, the transport truck was hauled away with minimal drama.
Unfortunately, northwest Arkansas didn’t see the last of the snow after this video was taken. The area continued to experience an excess of winter weather through the first week of February, closing city halls, schools, church services, local airports and many businesses.
There is little doubt that the transport driver has a new appreciation of getting along in the snow.
