2013-dodge-charger-srt-392-1With 470 horsepower and 470 ft-lbs of torque, the Dodge Charger SRT8 is not the kind of car you take lightly. It has a commanding presence, a voice you can’t ignore, and the feeling that you just have to drive this car hard. And with all the history that comes from the Charger and HEMI names, there are plenty of people willing to pay a premium price to place themselves in the driver’s seat.

Chrysler knows this, and they’re offering yet another package to their ever-popular Charger SRT8. This latest dress-up package is called the 392 Package, and it was revealed this past weekend at the annual Spring Fest of LXs in front of an estimated 2,500 Mopar fans.

2013-dodge-charger-srt-392-2The 392 package is all about aesthetics, though the SRT team definitely did its homework. Included in the package are 20-inch Black Vapor Chrome wheels, a black-painted roof, a “power bulge” hood with black accents, and black mirrors and a spoiler as well. The Charger SRT8 392 will also come with model-specific badging, and of course the 6.4 liter, 470 horsepower HEMI V8. The package adds another $2,495 to the $46,245 base price of a Charger SRT8. Only 392 examples will be made.

Chrysler also rolled out a 300 SRT Concept at the annual LX Fest with matte wheels, a non-metallic finish. It will also get blacked out mirror caps, taillight and window surrounds…but we still prefer the Charger.
