Classic Industries Has Tail Lamp Lenses For '71 Chargers

For a long time, early ’70s Chargers didn’t get the love they deserved. Even though they were a powerhouse on the racetrack, they were always overshadowed by their late-’60s counterparts. A-la the General Lee…

However, we have recently noticed a surge in the popularity of early-’70s mopars, such as the the ’71-’74 Charger. As such, the demand for their replacement and aftermarket parts has grown. Classic Industries has always been known for being “early-to-the-party” in terms of product development, and that holds true now.

Apparently we aren’t the only ones who have noticed the trend these previously overlooked Chargers have taken on. The third-gen Charger has some seriously bold styling, which includes their tail lamp assembly. The three-piece tail-lamp is ensconced by a chrome bumper that wraps around both tail lights and really makes them pop when they’re lit-up. These B-bodies are still striking as ever.

Unfortunately for enthusiasts, the original lenses on these lights are often cracked, broken, or missing. Restorers were previously relegated to Ebay, forums, swap meets, and junkyards, but now Classic Industries has the parts they need to complete their build.

According to Classic, “we’ve just released new OER reproduction inner and outer tail lamp lenses for 1971 Charger and Charger Super Bee models (except R/T). Each lens is injection molded in the correct acrylic material to replicate the original in fit and appearance. They’re manufactured to factory specifications, including OEM-style markings for complete authenticity. They’re available in a six-piece set or sold individually. These are officially licensed Mopar Restoration Products. Mounting hardware not included.”
