CP-Carrillo has just introduced a new, high-performance connecting rod for 4.6 liter Modular Ford engines under their Bullet brand. CP-Carrillo says these connecting rods include the advanced features and improvements that the company has developed through rigorous testing and R&D. Manufactured from a proprietary blend of steel on a near net forging for structural support and durability, these connecting rods are factory replacement, race ready straight out of the box.
The new Bullet rods are supplied with WMC H-11 Tool steel bolts, have a center-to-center length of 5.932 inches, with the big end honed to 2.2394 inches, and the pin end sized at 0.8672 for a total weight of 613 grams. After rigorous R&D, the Bullet 4.6 Ford Modular rods have been torture tested and rated for 1100+ HP, 30+ psi of boost and 8500 rpm.
If you are interested in getting your hand on a set, the part number is BF50-5932, and the manufacturer’s recommended price is $1,235. But if you shop around we bet you can find an even better deal.
