Dodge has raised quite a bit of speculation with the renew of the ‘Cuda trademark last spring and now a renewal of the “Six Pack” trademark. We might wonder if Dodge is planning a comeback of maybe a new type HEMI with 3 throttle bodies, possibly resembling the iconic 440 M-code cars of the muscle car era. Others are thinking prototype cars that closely resemble early muscle, that may wear a Six-Pack badge somewhere on its exterior.
As posted on Allpar, its not an easy process to renew a trademark and it takes time to get things of this nature done. This recent registration of ‘Cuda, and Six Pack may have just been part of their plan to use these icons to sell restoration parts. They have also brought back the Torqueflite trademark as well.
So there are many die hard Mopar fans that are screaming to have something wild brought to the drawing board and then to production, or it may be just a move that Chrysler made for a just in case scenario or an idea that has already been scrapped before it even began.
In either case it surely has sparked more than a few to start speculation and crazy rumors of manifestations of new muscle making its debut and topping Dodge’s return of the Challenger.
Remember the tension and excitement when rumors spread about the possible return of the Challenger, and then rumors and speculation of possibly a new Cuda hit just about every Mopar forum on the internet. We just hope the new “Six Pack” is not going to describe a new 4 door muscle car like the Charger or worse yet a Hybrid model in the works.
